Photo Fridays: Craft Club in Free Hill

Photo Fridays: Craft Club in Free Hill

Last weekend, I visited my fellow Group 84-er, Julie, in Free Hill, St. Ann. You might remember, that’s where I did my volunteer shadowing with Val. It’s pretty close to Brown’s Town, so I can visit there fairly often. It can actually get somewhat chilly (for Jamaica) up in Free Hill, so Julie taught herself how to crochet, now she’s nearly done with a blanket! I brought my knitting with me, so we had ourselves a little crafting afternoon on her veranda. Julie’s host sister, Chin-Chin (my me), saw one of my finished socks and asked “yah build dat?”

About Elizabeth Riley

It's the wonders I'm after, even if I have to bleed for them.
